Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate, born 18 August 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where she is a past UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was earlier a Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, as on the 3rd of October, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb of Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. Tate was a boy in her youth and often played in the playgrounds with the other boys.
