Kathryn Erbe

  Kathryn Elsbeth Erbe was born July 5 in 1965. Her most well-known role is her role in the role of Alexandra Eames on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, a spin-off of Law & Order, and Shirley Bellinger in the HBO series Oz.



 



 Early life



 Erbe was born in Newton, Massachusetts, the daughter of Elsbeth Erbe and Richard Erbe. Her father is a researcher geneticist. She graduated from New York University in 1989.



 



 Career



 Erbe was a college student at NYU and was chosen to play Lynn Redgrave's character's daughter on Chicken Soup.
